S spectacular panoramic views of the Bela Valley, with a variety of birdlike, echidnas, platypus, wombats and farm animals. The Stone Cottage, comfortable in winter, cool in summer has been built from local river stone and timber from the property. Both cottages have gorgeous views of mountains and valleys with wood fires to keep you cony in winter. We produce freshly baked bread on arrival and our farm eggs with starter breakfast provisions in the cottages. The Sapphire Coast is an outstanding region from the mountains to the sea, National Parks and walking trails, beaches and swimming, fishing, or horse riding, canoeing, grape and fruit wineries, art galleries and craft studios, the famous Bela Cheese Factory, Australian Pottery Gallery, Candelo Markets and of course whales in season. Our beaches are pristine and uncrowded and there are many leashes release beach areas for pets. Our rates include all linen, freshly baked bread and our farm eggs on arrival and starter breakfast provisions in the cottage. Because humans are not the only ones who need to smell the roses! Each cottage has its own important fenced distant garden with lots of places to sniff and explore. Dogs can safely be left for a few hours while you explore the area if you are safe they will not fret or jump the fences however there are many leashes free areas for your pet to explore with you. They will also love exploring the fire trail or swimming in the river and the dam. Dogs may be left in gardens if you wish to go sightseeing without them, and are sure. Animals are to be supervised and leashed at all times exterior of the cottage gardens. Leash free areas on Sapphire Coast Council has developed leash release areas throughout the coastal zone of the Shire, largely in areas that a re already popular for owners of dogs for leash free exercise. The grassy headland overhead Short Point Beach in the area signposted. Gila Gunyah is a mixture of cleared paddocks and natural bush land to be explored. The secret lyrebird, lace monitors, wombats, bower birds building nests, echidnas and of course a variety of parrots and other birds. A visit to the historic wharf at Tathra is a must appreciate the beauty of the beach and the cuisine of the area. You can visit exquisite deserted beaches, sample freshly caught fish at Bermagui and Eden, visit the historical villages of Pambula and Cobargo and their numerous art and craft galleries, take a whale watching cruise (Sept to Nov), go big game fishing, take in a round of golf at one of the many local golf courses or take a ecstasy flight and see how pretty it all is from the air.
